This year's Grand National race meeting runs from Thursday 12th April to Saturday 14th April.
The Grand National steeplechase is run over the Aintree 'National' course, and covers four and a half miles.
The steeplechase takes two circuits of the course, but The Chair and the water are not jumped the second time round.
There are 30 fences to jump altogether, but usually most of the horses have dropped out before the end.
Watch out at Becher's Brook and The Chair which often take out many riders.
And remember if you want to avoid the crush of the bookmakers, you can always place your bet online.
